In this course, you will learn to use the Processing programming language through a set of building blocks that will help you understand the underlying principles which are transferable to any other programming language. You will be able to apply those new understandings in your creative process to create and manipulate compelling visuals in minutes. No previous coding experience required.

Explore how coding can be used to create stunning decorative patterns. During this workshop, you will learn the basics of computer programming with Processing, an open source programming language developed for artists and designers in mind. By the end of the day, you will have designed your own patterns to use in your practice or creative applications.
